Document summary
How active records, account closure and deletion requests are handled.
Active records
We retain account information while needed to operate and protect the account. Organisations direct the operational life of their customer, property, work, document, stock and evidence records. Archiving a record or removing a login does not erase the underlying organisation records.
Deletion and restrictions
Send an erasure or end-of-service instruction to privacy@jobaro.co.uk or the privacy-request page. We check authority, locate records and explain any constraint. This is reviewed manually; account closure does not promise immediate automatic deletion of every copy.
Accounting duties, an unresolved dispute, fraud or security investigation, or proof of an agreement may require limited retention. We identify the purpose and applicable period for the request, restrict the retained information and review it when the purpose ends. It is not used for unrelated marketing.
History and backups
Access, grant and change history records who acted. Corrections and revocations add history rather than rewriting earlier events; requests concerning personal data in history are assessed separately. Archives retain access controls. Backup schedules depend on the provider and enabled service; no fixed deletion time is promised. We explain applicable handling, restrict backups from ordinary use and reapply deletion instructions after a restoration.
