Responsibility and contact
Trent End Ventures Ltd trading as Jobaro is responsible for account administration, platform operation, security, public moderation and support. Write to 1, Suite 10022 Hanley Street, Nottingham, United Kingdom, NG1 5BL or privacy@jobaro.co.uk.
A business using Jobaro normally controls the purposes of its customer, worker, property and job records; Jobaro processes those records on its instructions. We can help identify the responsible business. The owner has confirmed that ICO registration has not yet been obtained; we do not claim regulatory certification.
Information and sources
Information comes from you, your organisation, people who invite or link you to work, and your use of the service. It includes identity and contact details, workspace membership, addresses, jobs, quotes, invoices, stock records, notes, photographs, reports, reviews, support requests and approval/access history. Hosting and authentication also process network, device, timestamp and security information. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data or private access instructions in published content.
Purposes and lawful bases
Necessary account and service processing supports our contract with you. Security, abuse prevention, business administration and support use our legitimate interests, balanced against people's rights. We process information to meet legal duties where required. Activities requiring consent use the specific permission requested; you can withdraw it. Organisation records follow that organisation's instructions and lawful basis.
Account information is needed to create and protect an account; optional profile, evidence and publication fields depend on your choices and the workflow. We do not sell personal data or use launch-core evidence to train AI models. The launch core does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Access and public content
Protected records depend on account, company, role and record permissions. Quick Audit evidence remains private when a report is generated or a property is attached. Once you export and send a document, you and its recipient control that copy.
Staff duties are separated by role. Personal details are masked in staff projections; supported record reveals require a reason and an audit entry. Deliberately published profiles, projects and reviews may be copied by anyone. Reviewer names are shortened and structured locations use a postcode district. Check free text and photographs before publishing.
Providers and transfers
Supabase supplies authentication, database and file storage. The production database connection uses the AWS eu-west-1 endpoint in Ireland. Vercel hosts the app on international infrastructure. Provider support and subprocessors can operate elsewhere; this is not a UK-only or Ireland-only processing promise.
Our Subprocessor List identifies providers and their contractual safeguards. International transfers must use an applicable adequacy arrangement or contractual protection, including relevant UK transfer provisions where required. Contact us for details. Optional analytics are disabled for the reduced launch; direct payment, SMS and AI providers are not required for launch-core use.
Retention, rights and complaints
The Retention Policy explains active records, account closure, deletion and restricted copies. Erasure is assessed against legal duties, organisation instructions and other people's rights; we explain what can be removed and what must remain.
Use the privacy-request page or privacy@jobaro.co.uk to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where applicable. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Proportionate identity checks may be needed. Requests are normally answered within one month; a lawful extension will be explained. You may complain to the ICO at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ at any time. We will explain materially different processing before introducing it.
